9th Brigade Machine Gun Company

A Machine Gun Company was attached to each Infantry Brigade and their subsequent Division.

The 9th Bde. M.G. Coy. was formed by the 08 February 1916 from the Machine Gun Sections of the listed infantry battalions.

On 06 March 1918, it was amalgamated with the 8th, 76th and 233rd Machine Gun Companies to form No. 3 Battalion, Machine Gun Corps.

As a unit of the 3rd Infantry Division, it will have taken part in the following battles and engagements.
