Prices
All prices on our web site are in pounds sterling (£) and the main price shown includes VAT at 20% where applicable.
The Vickers MG Collection & Research Association is VAT registered, number 321 4137 48. If you require a VAT invoice, email sales@vickersmg.org and we will respond as soon as practicable.
We try to make sure that the prices on our website are accurate but it is possible that an error may occur. If we discover an error in pricing of the goods in your order we will inform you as soon as possible using the contact details you supply us and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. (If we are unable to reach you we will treat the order as cancelled). In the event of an order being cancelled, any payment already made for the goods will be refunded in full.
All offers are available while stocks last. If we are unable to supply a particular item, which you have ordered, or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and we will refund you any money that you have paid.
Delivery
With our standard service we aim to dispatch all orders within 2-7 working days in most circumstances. Our regular dispatch days are Friday and Saturday. Unless specifically requested, Special Delivery (next day) services will be dispatched with our normal routine.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail or Parcel Force and you can select your choice of available services at checkout. You will receive dispatch notification with completion of your order.
We will make every effort to deliver within the times but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If the goods are not delivered within the delivery time that we quote for that item, please contact us.
After you have placed your order you will receive an email from us which is your confirmation of order. This is confirmation that we have received your order. It is not confirmation that the order you have placed is guaranteed to be in stock or that it can be fulfilled. Sometimes errors do occur in our stock inventory or other customers order just before you. We cannot be liable or responsible for any loss occurring because your items are not in stock. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible if this is the case.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
If your delivery Country applies any import or duty taxes it is your responsibility to pay these taxes and applicable fees, we can not advise on likely charges and we do not cover these in the delivery cost.
Some items are available for collection only and these must be collected by appointment from the VMGCRA in person. This should generally only be used when booked on a visit or other event.
Non Delivery
It is the buyer’s responsibility to notify us if the goods have not been received within 21 days of the estimated delivery date or receipt of our invoice.
If no notification is made within this time period the buyer shall be deemed to have received the goods.
Export restrictions
Some items are not suitable for export and the international ordering is restricted for those items. If you order an item that is not suitable for export, you will be refunded.
Descriptions
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all the details, descriptions and prices of products on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as possible, the information including product descriptions appearing on this website at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.
Faulty goods
Our products are packaged to ensure they arrive to you in good condition, however very occasionally items will arrive damaged or with defects. If this does occur then please contact us first by email sales@vickersmg.org before sending the items back.
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will replace the item free of charge. Should a refund be requested, then the refund will be made as soon as the item has been returned.
This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
Our returns address is provided on your packaging or by contacting us.
