This is a newly published manual on the use of Lee-Enfield rifles. It has been written by the VMGCRA for use by our own members as part of our demonstrations and blends the historic content with modern safety standards and range use. It includes the appropriate knowledge required for the successful completion of the Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Personal Weapons developed by the Ministry of Defence’s Defence Awarding Organisation.
This is not accredited material but follows the outline of an accredited syllabus designed for other weapons.
We have worked with the Lee-Enfield Rifle Association and Mike Burns of Bloke on the Range to make this suitable for a wide audience and to ensure it is as correct as possible, although any errors or omissions remain ours.
