99th Brigade Machine Gun Company

A Machine Gun Company of the Machine Gun Corps was attached to each Infantry Brigade and their subsequent Division.

The 99th Bde. M.G. Coy. was formed in the UK, it landed it France on 26 April 1916 and joined on 28 April 1916. It was formed to replace the Machine Gun Sections of the listed infantry battalions.

As a unit of the 2nd Infantry Division, it will have taken part in the following battles and engagements.
