9th Brigade Machine Gun Company

A Machine Gun Company was attached to each Infantry Brigade and their subsequent Division.

4th Bn. Royal Fusiliers
12th Bn. West Yorkshire Regiment
1st Bn. Royal Scots Fusiliers

The 9th Bde. M.G. Coy. was formed by the 08 February 1916 from the Machine Gun Sections of the listed infantry battalions.

As a unit of the 3rd Division, it will have taken part in the following battles and engagements.
